The image is taken inside Soberania national park on the Boat and Jungle Photo Tour. Panama is famous for the great biodiversity. We have for instance 982 different bird species, and 220 mammals. The landscapes and nature types have also great variety like rain forests, mountains, rivers, lakes, coasts, desert and more. Our tours have a maximum of 4 participants per tour.

This is a warm-up for the fully booked Photo Workshop at Dovre, Norway, September 17-20, 2015. I am looking forward to come back to this unique area I have explored so many times over the years. I am also looking forward to meet the workshop participants, which come from three countries this year.

The Muskoxen is one of the animals we will search for and photograph, and the enclosed picture was taken last year inside Dovrefjell national park.

One of my landscape photographs is in this years GEO calendar. I am very honored to be selected as one of twelve photographers for this calendar.

© Øyvind Martinsen. American Crocodile at Coiba Island (national park), Pacific coast, Panama. This huge crocodile have had its territory in a bay on the island for over twenty years, and the national park rangers from ANAM have given him the name Tito. He is probably more than 30 years old.

Black Vultures at sunrise, Isla de Coiba, Panama. You don’t always have to use the long lens to photograph wildlife. Very often, I use a wide-angle lens and try to include the wildlife in the landscape and the environment they live in. So is it landscape- or wildlife photography? Nature has no clear definitions and borders, so I choose to call it a more complete nature photography.

Dette kurset har to deler, en teoretisk del som vil foregå inne, og en praktisk del som vil foregå ute ved kysten på Larkollen i Rygge.

Teoretisk del:
Bildeforedrag hvor jeg forteller om min tilnærming til landskapsfotograferingens variabler gjennom både omfattende og enkle landskapsanalyser.
Nyttig utstyr i landskapsfotograferingen.

Praktisk del:
Fotografering med veiledning.
Demonstrasjon av arbeidsmåte og bruk av utstyr.

Hvem passer kurset for?
Alle som vil bli bedre landskapsfotografer, enten du er nybegynner eller profesjonell.

Hva trenger du?
Ta med skrivesaker, kamera, stativ, snorutløser som et minimum. I tillegg ta med graderte gråfiltre og polarisasjonsfilter om du har.  Ta også med deg uteklær som passer for dagens vær. Husk også et åpent og kreativt sinn.
